After seeing a bunch of millenials discover the series on YouTube, I realize such viewers are more commonplace than I thought. The thing, though, is that even those viewers had at least heard of the Vader reveal because it's so UBIQUITOUS in pop culture! The clip is shown in documentaries, retrospectives, awards ceremonies, montages and even memes. People have parodied it. It's deeply embedded in the pop cultural fabric! So, I think that YouTuber's comment should be revised: someone who doesn't know THE SECRET OF LUKE'S LINEAGE is like finding a unicorn! THAT is what's extremely rare! I don't know how you've shielded yourself from this knowledge or how you've never met anyone who tried to expose you to these films, but we Star Wars aficionados are the grateful recipients of this moment: a genuine No, I am your father revelatory reaction! I hope you understand its rarity because we certainly do.

Imangine how much audiences in theaters would have lost their shit at this scene. My favorite scene in Star Wars of all time sooooooo well done. Many changes to the Star wars films aren't usually needed but Ian is so good as the emperor. Episode 1 should be next. No matter what order you watch some surprises are ruined. I prefer 1-6 in that order. Jumping around let's you know that no matter what perril the character is in they survived to later movies. 9:19 “Poke your knees” I hope someone gets that reference. Even though the first Star Wars film of 1977 is my personal favourite, The Empire Strikes Back is one sequel which almost surpasses the original.
All of our favourite characters return, along with new characters such as Lando, Jedi Master Yoda, Boba Fett and our first look at the evil Emperor Palpatine.
From the Battle Of Hoth, Luke's training on Dagobah and then to Cloud City, we go on a new journey with our beloved characters. And then we hear one of the biggest revelations in movie history. Face it, you must have been living under a rock if you don't know what that revelation is.
The film is a cinematic masterpiece and is often cited by my fellow Star Wars fans as the greatest film of the saga.
